The Last Post from All of Us Revolution
This is a big week for us. The week we’ve been waiting for and working towards for 16 months.
We’re debuting our signature piece and launching our Kickstarter campaign this week. We can’t even say what day because we’re still waiting on a few pieces to come together. It’s down to the wire — we’re frantically crunching numbers and editing photos and writing press releases and getting our email lists together.
We are by no means prepared, but they say preparation is overrated. You have to take the leap, let people see your work, and see what happens.
Through pre-sales on Kickstarter, we’re trying to raise $20,000 in 30 days. There are some sweet rewards for you guys, a chance to own a piece from the first batch produced, and an opportunity to help us fund our business dreams.
So keep an eye out. We’ll be launching a bunch of things this week: including a new website, new Facebook page, our Kickstarter campaign, and a lookbook of our signature piece.
It’s completely terrifying — and completely exhilarating. Kind of like jumping out of a plane at 12,000 feet, except this time it’s your life’s passion on the line. Over a year of hard work laid out on the table for people to critique and judge — and hopefully, love.
With that said, this is our last post from the All of Us Revolution blog. In a few days, everything will move over to www.revolutionapparel.me, and this will become a dusty archive. It’s kind of like graduation day, and we couldn’t be more ready to move on, grow and reach an even wider audience.
So, for all of you who were here from the beginning, it’s a milestone for you too. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have you along for the adventure, as well as your support in helping us share the excitement.
Launch day couldn’t come soon enough (aside from all the work we have to do between now and then). {r}
P.S. We’ll have one last, last post on launch day just to share all the links and tell everyone what’s going on!

My pleasure guys :) The fashion industry needs YOU! Women need you too!
Holy cow!!! This gave me goosebumps! So proud, anxious, and excited for you girls :)
I agree with Bekka. Made me a little teary eyed…. All the best as the dream continues.
Alright, you two, you’re getting me a little emotional… : ) No time for tears! Too much work to do!
Shannon, I remember talking in Boston w/ Alan and Sean as we answered your questions about plugins and all that basic WordPress stuff, back when this was just starting up. Now you are owning shit.
You girls rock, been so fun following along so far, and this is really only the beginning :-) PUMPED.
Doesn’t that seem like yesterday? Maybe not for you, since you’ve accomplished so much ground this year : ) Funny how clueless I was a year ago though!
Thanks, Nate, you’ve been around since the VERY beginning and I’m so thankful for it.
WOW! Big deal ladies. Congratulations on this next step. I look forward to following along.
Thanks, Kristy! We’re super excited to have you along for it all!
SO EXCITING!! Cannot wait to see the signature piece/lookbook/website – everything!
So happy for you two! You’ve done big things thus far, can’t wait to see where you take it!
Thanks for being here from the beginning, Casey! You’ve been such a great support, you have no idea.
This is so exciting! You two have changed my views so much already! I can’t wait for all this to happen, you two so deserve this. Thanks for everything you’ve done already, I ditto the comment on making magic happen, because you really are! This is so beyond exciting!!
Good luck!!!!
That’s the biggest compliment you could give, Jessie — the fact that you’ve learned something new and feel it’s for the better : ) The magic wouldn’t happen without people like you, so thank YOU!
Congratulations!! It has been fun to watch you come along in this industry and I am so glad you are finally taking the leap.
I hope it goes gangbusters but if it is slow just remember that it is slow for many in the industry right now and don’t give up. Just keep at it and with your enthusiasm good things are sure to come your way!
Good luck!
You’re right, Korey, it’s definitely a tough industry. Fingers crossed we’re going about it the right way by launching a pre-sale campaign and not producing more than are ordered (eek!) Appreciate the encouraging and logical words!
Ah! I CANNOT WAIT. Congrats!
WOOT WOOT!! AHHHH! Kind of feel like jumping off a roof and doing a flip onto a brick wall… ; )
What a wonderful achievement for you both! Seems like an “end” yet it’s really another beginning… Congratulations, and WOO HOO! :)
Totally just the beginning! Thanks, LA! Looking forward to seeing you next week : )
I’ve followed for a long time. Good job, Ladies! Your work is inspiring and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Thank you, Lynne! We could use some inspiration ourselves right now — things are getting down to the wire and we are cramming! eek! Appreciate the little push though : )
Congratulations on getting to this point, and best of luck in the weeks ahead and in the years beyond. You deserve it!
We’re looking forward to the weeks ahead too! Especially after this week! : ) Thank you, thank you, Meg!
Congrats to both of you! It has been a long time coming and I feel lucky to have been able to follow your progress to success. I wish you both the best! And can’t wait to witness the future of revolution apparel! So excited!
WE feel lucky to have YOU following along on our progress! Thank you so much for the well wishes, Vince.
Thank you Vince! That’s so so nice of you! We’re sending a sneak peek to people like you first so… watch your inbox : ) Maybe I’ll see you over Christmas!?!
I am so happy for you ladies…Not many people finish their visions!!!! Cannot wait to purchase your designs!!!!
Dayna, you are so wonderful. You’ve seriously been such a main supporter through all of this. We’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts after the debut!
Congratulations to you ladies, I’m very excited for you and definitely rooting for your success.
Here’s a last bit of thought for my last comment on your last blog post (quiet tears!).
Why people will support your journey:
1) Because they love your products, want them, and will wear them;
2) Because they are so dedicated to environmental issues that they will support sustainable fashion to embody that high ideal;
3) Because they want to see you succeed.
Personally, I’m neither your target demographic (although I tend to make clothes look GOOD :), and I’m not a big time environmentalist, but I do want you both you succeed brilliantly.
Remember that your business model — as much as it is about turning profit, creating innovative and loveable products, and embodying sustainability — is just as much about getting others to believe in you and love your stories, so they cannot help but want to see you succeed and help you however they can along the way.
For anything you need, I’m here for you!
D
Always such wise words, Dave : )
Yes, we want to appeal to our target market but appealing to people who just “want us to succeed” seems just as awesome. Thanks for reminding us that our story, who we are, and how we got here is just as important as the product itself.
Of course, changing the world is pretty cool too!
We’ll be in touch during the campaign. Thank you for everything. Words really can’t describe our appreciation. All the way back to June at WDS!
Talk soon!
I don’t even know what to say to that. Thank you, as always, for the words of wisdom… and for being one of those third people who is just plain awesome and wants to help us out. We’re so lucky to know so many of those people!
!!!
EEK. Let me know if there’s anything I can help with. Excited for you guys!
-Joel
Oh, believe me, YOU will be getting a list a mile long of how you can help ; ) Thanks, Joel!
You both are amazing and have changed my thoughts on fashion! Can’t wait to start wearing your stuff!
We can’t wait to see you wearing our stuff! Especially on your next awesome travels… Thanks for all the encouraging words along the way, Jade!
Kristin & Shannon–I’m so impressed with your perseverence on this project!!! It’s amazing how much you’ve had to learn and how much work it’s been to get this off the ground! And what I see is only the tip of the iceberg, I’m sure. You have gained so many valuable skills, made so many good friends and influenced so many people in the process. This endeavor has already been a success, and you haven’t even started production yet!!! Here’s wishing you even greater success in the production/sales phase than what you’ve had in the planning phase! Congragulations on making it to this big milestone. Can’t wait for the Kickstarter!
AW! Thank you! I’m so excited for you to see what I’ve been working so hard on. It’s been super rough the last few days but we’re up and running, at least, and we’re so happy about that that it’s worth the madness!
Thanks for not thinking I was crazy this whole time. For real!
hey girls
congratulations. i think the work ethic you guys have put into this will really pay off. there are always ups and downs, but rocking it in atx, nyc, and south america have really brought you two closer together and really made this possible.
i wish you the best of luck with the kickstarter campaign, and i hope it moves forward from there.
love the design on your new site. I’ll be following.

Thanks so much, Craig! It must be funny for you having been around since the very beginning of our blog. We’ve come a long way, huh? : ) We really appreciate your continual support!
