WHO SHOULD SPONSOR OUR SUSTAINABLE FASHION TOUR?
In the past month, we’ve announced the idea of our sustainable fashion tour, posted our internship opportunities, and started talking with other sustainable fashion people about collaboration.
We’ve also started to think about other like-minded companies we could offer sponsorship opportunities to. We believe this tour could be a great way to spread the word about sustainable and conscious consumption, even beyond fashion.
There are lots of opportunities for collaboration, from sampling products to sponsoring our truck/RV/van. We’ve thought a lot about what this sponsorship could look like, and the types of companies we’d like to work with. We think the right partnership could be a really exciting step for all involved.
As always, we’d like to know what you think. We certainly don’t want to sell out to some big company who could care less about the environment or our mission — we want down-home, impactful, social businesses that are aligned with our ideals.
And that’s where you come in. Who would you like to see us partner with? What companies would you endorse?
If there’s a company in your community that you know shares the same values of sustainability and environmental awareness, we want to hear about them. Leave your comments here, or if you’d like to see our sponsorship kit, send us an email at: info@revolutionapparel.me.
We’re looking forward to hearing your ideas! {r}

This is the company I did a bike tour with in Oregon. They might be interested:

Or maybe a company like Zipcar?
Awesome, we’ll definitely get in touch with them! Thanks, Andrea, and good luck with the job search — keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Try getting in touch with Gary Gagnon from Remyxx Sneakers, he’s made a 100% recyclable sneaker!

Ooh, good one! Thanks, Anne : )
Another one:

I don’t know if you remember/had modrobes pants, but they were awesome!! The company has now been reborn as all about the environment.
Great! We’ll check them out!
This is REMYXX cool sneakers 100% recyclable . . . West Coast is not me. Get back with me for Part II when you hit the East Coast. I am in North Carolina. But what a fabulous idea . . . ahhh to be young again.
Thanks for writing, Gary! We’ll definitely keep you in mind for Part II ; )
You and Holstee would be a perfect fit!
We love the guys at Holstee! We’ll give them a holler. They’re awesome!
I will spend some more time thinking about this!
Off the top of my head, I recently came upon a website called EnviroSurfer that sells only sustainably made surf gear / clothing. They’re pretty new and just starting out and its def a bit more about surfing than fashion, but still I see them very much inline with your mission and some of the target market would be similar with the surfer girls or surfer boys that want to buy their special someone a fine top to wear out hah.
Let me see, what else – SIMPLE SHOES would have been a good one as they make sustainable shoes, but I want to say that they are shutting down shop b/c they are actually owned by the same company that owns Sanuk and obviously you know those shoes have taken off.
What about Ocean Minded – they’re a bit of a larger company, but their ideals are pretty good. Not 100% educated on everything the company stands behind, but from a quick browse of the website its a priority for them.
Maggie’s Socks – they are organic wool socks.
Hmm, I wish I knew about a company that makes organic jeans or something – that’d be a good match plus I’d like to buy some haha.
I’ll keep my eyes out!
KEEP IT UP!!!!
- Lauren :)
YAY! Thanks for all of these!
Sanuk is someone we might talk to… I know Elisa Doucette was telling us about some natural rubber shoes she’s got! Sounded cool. Will check out the others, too! We actually went to the farm where the cotton from Maggie’s socks comes from in Nicaragua, so crazy! Agreed on the organic jeans… I’ll let you know if I stumble across some : ) Til then, it’s Buffalo Exchange for me…
REI! Love that store. I say if you can’t get it at REI, you don’t need it. (But they sell everything, so…)
Anyway, I think they are right up your alley.
Great suggestion — we actually tried them, but no dice! We still love them all the same : )
