WELCOMING A NEW MEMBER TO OUR DESIGN TEAM!

Meet Johanna!
In the past couple weeks, we’ve been working with an Austin-based seamstress and designer to create a prototype of our second piece, a maxi dress.
Today, we thought we’d introduce her to you guys as a new part of our team.

Johanna graduated with a Masters of Fine Art in women’s wear from the Academy of Art University. Before moving to Austin, she worked for Lemon Twist in San Francisco and Free People in Philadelphia, designing sweaters and knitwear.
She has since moved into the freelance sector of design and has been contracted out by Betsy Johnson, Anthropologie, Emilime Handcrafted, Aum, and Raven + Lily, to name a few.
Her thesis collection, a line of contemporary women’s wear, was featured in Bryant Park in New York City.
We’re through our first two rounds of revisions on the dress and will be posting sneak-peek photos of it soon. A big thanks to Johanna — we’re thrilled to be working with her! {r}
